painting with moss

Billed as "environmentally friendly" graffiti, this moss paint is pretty remarkable. Apparently an old gardening trick for encouraging moss growth, there are many examples on the internet of it being used as you would traditional paints. It seems easy enough to make, with slightly varying recipes online mainly consisting of: moss, Buttermilk (or yogurt) water or beer, sugar and corn syrup to thicken in needed. I think what is key would be placement of the moss in some were damp but not exposed to direct rain. one online source suggested growing a design in compost until it becomes established enough, then transferring to your location. Regular watering once in location is also suggested.
I guess the thing to do now is to try it out.
Thinking about record sleeves, it would be great if some how you could buy the record and it would look like any other record, but over time would start to grow some kind of organic matter/plant on it. hmmmm
